My sister Anne and I (Véronique) spent our week end at The France Show in Earls Court. An amazing opportunity for us to meet French food lovers and share our love for French gourmet products.
It was the first time we had the opportunity to introduce our discovery boxes in « real life » and we focused our tastings on 2 themes: In Grandma »s garden (January selection) and Tartine & Terroir (November selection). Today we’re back in France, and for those who couldn’t attend the event, we decided to introduce you to our visitor’s favorites during the tasting.
The Cook’s favorite
Definetly the Eloïde Fresh Mint Syrup. It is our first collaboration with the brand Eloïde, coming straight from Provence, but we’ll definetly write more about them because their products and their brand history are amazing. While syrup is a really popular product in France, most of the people we met at the show never had the chance to taste it before. There are so many ways to use Fresh Mint syrup! The most popular use, is to drink it, diluted in fresh or hot water. Eloïde Fresh Mint can also be used in cocktails or even with Champagne!
But what mainly seduced our tasters, was the fact that you can also cook with Fresh Mint syrup Eloïde to add a delicate Fresh Mint flavour to all your creations. Looking for ideas? Check here!
All our tasters have been surprised by the little Rosemary balls coated with white chocolate mad by the creative chocolate maker Bovetti, also part of our January selection.
Most of the visitors to the France Show were looking for strong, genuine french flavours. And this is why all our tasters liked our Provence herbs coated dried sausage / saucisson. Also part of the January selection, this Savoy product pleased the tasters because of its herbs infused delicate flavour. If you want more, you can order the product online.
Another favourite was the Aix&terra tapenade. A product we introduced in our November selection. You were seduced by its strong taste. Made out of the best olives, its definetly a luxury product. Many of you asked us where they could buy it. Well, you should have a look at the brand website to order it online.
The 33 Petits Beurres apéritif made out of Comté Cheese and pepper seduced all of you. You’re lucky dear londoners, because the product is available in the UK, in London, at Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge.
And you? What was your favourite product you discovered at our stand?
